Owensboro Police Department
• Jose R. Santillan-Sandoval, 27, of 700 block off Hall Street, was charged Friday with first degree possession of a controlled substance (meth).
• Tyler D. Polston, 25, of the 1300 block on East 19th Street, was charged Thursday with possession of a gun by a convicted felon.
• Brian Whitten, 26, of 3500 Block Deer Trail was charged Thursday with first degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and controlled substance theft.
• An attack on a house in the 2200 block of York Drive was reported Tuesday. The victim said she was hit in the head with a brick

• A $ 350 pistol was stolen Tuesday from a house on the 4400 block of Taylor Drive.
• A debit card from Mellow Mushroom, 101 W. Second St. was reported stolen on Thursday.
• Gold coins, sports cards, furniture, a rifle case, ammunition magazines and $ 1,050 Legos were stolen from a house on the 2800 block of Delaware Drive Thursday.
traffic accidents
• Two vehicles collided on Crabtree Avenue near McFarland Avenue at 2:24 pm Thursday. They were a car from Calix Seilin Guerra, 31, on the 800 block on Locust Street, and a car from Jamar N. McNary, 48, on the 2600 block on West Ninth Street. Guerra and her passenger Delmis Contrerus were reportedly transported to Owensboro Health for examination after complaining of headache and neck pain.
Daviess County Sheriff’s Department
• Michael R. Liles, 34, of the 2300 block on North York Street, was charged Friday with trafficking in a controlled substance (meth) first degree.
• Joshua L. Porter, 41, of the 3800 block of Raintree Drive, was charged Friday with a second degree break-in.
• John B. Stanley, 46, of the 700 block of Parkway Drive, was charged Thursday with drinking under the influence of driving.
Kentuckyuck State Police
• Terry L. Knotts, 42, of Chandler, Indiana, was charged Friday with drinking under the influence of driving.
