Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who was last seen as a wildcard contestant on Bigg Boss 15, underwent a surgery recently after she was injured during a task while inside the house.

The actor took to Instagram to apprise her fans and followers about what led to the urgent surgery and how she was recuperating. “My BB15 journey was a roller coaster ride. I went through a lot of ups and downs, be it mentally, physically or emotionally,” she wrote in the caption alongside a video montage of the time spent at the hospital and then at home.

“As you all know, I got injured during the pole task and suffered from a complete foot drop. Post my BB15 eviction, I had to go with immediate nerve decompression surgery. (sic)”

For the unsed, the actor was performing a task wherein she had to cling to a slightly-raised pole and stay on it for as long as possible, without losing balance. Devoleena managed to hold on for almost 24 hours following which, she slipped and fell when a fellow contestant splashed a bucket full of water on her. This, perhaps, led to the injury.

“Well that was the time where my confidence was completely shattered and I didn’t know how to deal with it without my mom or brother around me and had no time to think over it (not even a day), so I immediately went through the surgery,” she shared in the caption.

During her time on the show, she was seen limping and using a trolley suitcase as a support to walk around. She mentioned that in this “difficult time” her “willpower” and “faith” was her strength.

Now back home, the actor seems to be on the road to recovery, as she wears a brace support around her waist.

CHICAGO – Along with everything else, COVID-19 is also causing problems with our teeth.

That’s what dentists are saying after treating patients who’ve been under stress during the pandemic and taking it out on their teeth. Dentists have experienced more stress-related oral health issues during the pandemic, according to local providers and the American Dental Association.

“People clench more, grind more, grind their teeth more,” said Dr. Rana Stino, dentist and partner at Water Tower Dental Care in Chicago. “Even their bite guards break.”

ADA’s Health Policy Institute conducted a survey in October that found dentists were reporting an increase in stress-related conditions such as clenching or clenching of the jaw, chipped teeth, cracked teeth and joint dysfunction.

According to the survey, 69 percent of dentists saw an increase in patients grinding and clenching their teeth, and 63 percent said they saw more patients with chipped teeth and broken teeth, all conditions often associated with stress.

In nearly 13 years of practice, Chicago dentist Dr. Karen Fields, whose practice is located at 28 to BRUSH in Forest Park, is experiencing an unprecedented level of stress-related dental problems.

“I can honestly say that in the last two years I’ve seen the largest number of broken teeth that I’ve seen in my career as a doctor,” she said.

“Prevention is key,” she said. “The longer they stay, the more difficult it becomes to treat them.”

One good change in the pandemic, Fields added, is that patients are becoming more aware of their breath after breathing with a mask directly on their face and concentrating on the exhaled breath.

“Since we covered our noses and mouths for almost two years, many patients have had the opportunity to focus on their breath and notice when it’s less than comfortable,” Fields said.

Bad breath can be a leading indicator of things like dietary changes — a diet low in fruits and vegetables can cause bad breath, she said — or an unmanaged health condition like diabetes. She reminds patients to brush their tongue and gums.

Answer: The early bird catches the worm, Warwick – live by those words. I applaud you for being proactive about your health. The work you put in now will always pay off in the future. And it doesn’t always have to be such a long time frame. Now have a glass of water and spend an hour outside with no screen time – you’ll feel great for the rest of the day.

There are definitely some tips and tricks from Dr. Zac to relieve your joint and back pain, but I have to recommend that you see your doctor if the pain persists and gets worse. Often times, this pain is a warning sign of something more serious going on in your body.

Are you listening to your body, are you creaking like old floorboards from sitting all day, or is your body trying to tell you something?

What is a joint?

It is a part of the body where two or more bones meet to allow movement. Every bone in your body has a friend and meets another bone. The only Nigel No Friends bone in your body is the hyoid bone in your throat.

Your body spends a lot of time and energy keeping these joints lubricated. Just as door hinges need a spray of WD-40 every now and then, your joints need a powerful spray every day to keep up.

A common joint pain is arthritis, an inflammation of the joint that causes stiffness and pain. As you age, your joints become overworked and inflamed, so you need to make sure you’re proactively prolonging this for as long as possible.

Neck pain is a fairly common joint pain that my patients present to me. The solutions to this can be quite simple. One is to apply moist heat to the painful area, which is most likely the joint at the base of your neck that connects your spine to your heavy head. This can be a towel dipped in warm water.

You can also try sleeping with a very thin pillow or none at all. Let your neck joint rest in its natural position when you sleep. Another good tip is to sleep with a pillow between your knees, as this will help discourage stomach sleepers from burying themselves face into their pillow all night and will improve circulation.

For tennis elbow, you can also use warm heat. When doing exercises to prevent pain, straighten your elbow, e.g. B. by pushing objects or raising your arms towards the ceiling.

one of dr Zac’s recommended exercise would be to stand facing the wall and hold a light weight or medicine ball. Squat down and continue the movement as you rise by stretching your arms towards the ceiling. Incorporate this into your regular training regimen and you’ll have arms as strong as Popeye’s.

Perhaps the two most important joints in your body to pay attention to. Both are essential for comfortable movement.

For your hip pain, a simple daily exercise can be to lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. While engaging your core and glutes, lift your hips three to five inches off the floor and hold them for about five seconds (ten if you can keep up!). Repeat this exercise about ten times and try to do it daily.

After your hip exercises, remain on the floor and keep one knee upright and bent and the other straight on the floor. Raise your straight knee to the level of your bent knee and slowly lower it. Repeat this daily and around ten times for both knees.

back pain

Around four million Aussies have back problems, which is amazing because the back is so important. We all need to take care of ourselves and perform a handful of daily habits to avoid this problem.

The first rule of the No Back Pain Club is: stay active! Keep your body moving and try not to stay in the same position for a long time. If you work at a desk, get up every hour and do a stretch.

Abdominal exercises help keep your core strong. By having a strong core, you relieve your back from carrying the entire weight of your body. Try your hand at some yoga classes, it’s a great way to build strength and flexibility.

Eat it every day – it’s lube for your joints

Keep healthy levels of vitamin D, magnesium and calcium flowing through your body. In unison, these will work together to keep you healthy. Don’t go out and buy supplements, just eat avocado on toast with pumpkin seeds (rich in magnesium), baby spinach and feta (rich in calcium). And eat it outside in the sun to get vitamin D.

Sit on the floor while watching TV

Finally, swap out your chair or sofa for a pillow on the floor when you’re relaxing next week as it will encourage better posture and why not add some comfortable stretches to your TV time.

A 22-year-old man has been placed on house arrest for several criminal offenses, including leaving the scene of an accident in which a woman was injured.
Austin Ryan Little Shields pleaded guilty Thursday in Lethbridge provincial court to the charge, as well as charges of impaired driving and taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent. He was given a six-month conditional sentence, the first four months of which he must serve under house arrest, followed by two-months of curfew between 11 pm and 6 am
Court was told police received a complaint last August about an impaired driver at the emergency shelter in Lethbridge who was driving a black Chevy Suburban and nearly hitting employees. Eye witnesses told police the driver was speeding and driving erratically and had struck some people in the parking lot before driving away.
Shortly afterward police responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of 6 Avenue and 13 Street North, from which the driver of the Suburban, later identified as Little Shields, fled on foot.
The other vehicle, a 2005 minivan, was totalled, and the female driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Little Shields at first told the police he and two other men were in the Suburban, but he was only a passenger. However, after speaking with witnesses, police determined Little Shields was the driver.
The subsequent investigation revealed that Little Shields didn’t stop at the stop sign and drove through the intersection at a high rate of speed, smashing into the minivan. His blood-alcohol level was more than double the legal limit, and Little Shields told police he drank a 26-oz bottle of whiskey a few hours before the collision and was blacking out.
The Suburban, court was told, belonged to Little Shields’ grandfather, but Little Shields took it without his consent.
The woman experienced chest pain, midline tenderness, left knee pain and a headache, but was discharged from the hospital with instructions for selfcare. In her victim impact statement read in court, she described additional injuries, including ongoing “massive headaches.” She also suffers from neck pain and her back often feels like it could “give out,” she wrote.
Little Shields sustained only minor injuries.
“These are very serious offenses committed in a way that had a lasting impact on the victim,” Crown Prosecutor Adam Zelmer said. “It’s truly fortunate either the victim or Mr. Little Shields weren’t killed in the course of this.”
Lethbridge lawyer Darcy Shurtz pointed out that before this incident his client only had one previous conviction for failing to attend court. And while he has struggled with alcohol, he has moved in with his parents, who are supporting him and helping him stay sober.

Shark Tank India’s Jugadu Kamlesh won Rs 10 lakh with a ‘razor thin’ pitch

KAmlesh Nanasaheb Ghumare from Devarpada Village in Malegaon saw it as a second chance to rekindle his passion for acting.

The last time he came to Mumbai was like hundreds others from his region to fulfill his Bollywood dream after trying his hand in Mollywood (Malegon’s film industry) in 2017. But he was scared and afraid to live in the big city.

This time, however, he felt more confident as he would be showcasing his innovation, a one-of-a-kind pesticide sprayer that he had built over eight years.

He gave it his all and introduced himself as Kamlesh “Jugadu”, arms outstretched like a popular B-town hero.

The 27-year-old managed to surprise the judges with his performance, but what impressed them most was his solution to a problem that often goes unnoticed.

Coming from a farming family, it wasn’t difficult for him to understand some of the most common problems farmers face, such as back pain, neck pain and eye irritation. Farmers endure these problems when they spray chemicals or pesticides on the crops.

“So I mounted a pesticide sprayer on a bike that automatically sprays the pesticides when it’s in motion. A simple solution that solves problems facing farmers across India got me a Rs 10 lakhs shark tank deal,” Kamlesh tells The Better India.

Kamlesh has never been industrious and has always liked to make something out of nothing. As a child, he used matches, pencils, thread, stones and whatever was at his disposal.

As an adult, his curiosity about building remained the same, except that his innovations were now focused on solving his family’s problems.

Kamlesh recalls one such anecdote: “Once it rained heavily and I got soaked while driving the tractor in the field. It was a horrible day as everything including our crops had been damaged. Angered and irritated, I decided to at least fix the soaking problem. I modified the tractor interior and added a car seat, windshield and roof.”

In another instance, he turned an old ox cart into a dolly crane for a film shoot.

In 2014, Kamlesh started building a spray truck for his father from discarded materials.

“My father has carried a 25 liter pesticide tank on his shoulders for several years. As he grew older, his pain became so great that one day he could not bear it anymore. Seeing this, I set out to build a wagon that was sturdy and flexible enough to move around an uneven field and between all that ground. People called me “crazy” when I told them I could build it. They didn’t believe me because I wasn’t an engineer,” he says.

Still, he stuck with it and modified the machine several times to create a model that he featured on the reality show. The machine weighs about 26 kg and can carry 30 kg of weight.

A video of the fully completed and working machine was uploaded to his YouTube channel “Jugadu Kamlesh” in 2017. It has garnered 8.7 million views so far.

With the grant received, he will build similar models and further modify his original piece to make it lightweight and versatile.

Kamlesh’s fun-loving nature, serious effort, and perseverance in building a near-perfect machine have gone viral on the internet. Since the episode was released, his phone hasn’t stopped buzzing. Offers from other investors, companies and farmers continue to pour in.

“I finally fulfilled my dream of becoming a hero by solving a problem. Isn’t that what a hero does?” he asks rhetorically. But we couldn’t agree more.
