PHILADELPHIA Philadelphia Celtics don’t have Jaylen Brown in their game on the 76ers in 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night at Wells Fargo Center. The coach of the C’s Joe Mazzulla confirmed pregame that Brown will not play. Brown was listed as doubtful on the injury report before the start of the game because of low back discomfort. He is among four Celtics who will miss the game. He will be joined by Robert Williams III, Payton Pritchard, and Danilo Gallinari.

The injury isn’t believed to be anything that’s serious for Brown however, since Mazzulla has said that the player “anticipates” his All-Star outfit on next Wednesday against the Raptors. However, it will be based on the way Brown feels after he’s been mentioned in the injury report for lower back pain over the last week.

In other good news for injury As expected, Williams will play Wednesday at TD Garden against the Raptors. They Celtics have kept Williams out of the initial back-to backs game due to left knee injuries management. One reason for this, too could be due to Al Horford not playing the second game of the back-to back. Thus the Celtics have played with a staggered schedule Williams in addition to Horford’s absentees in order to ensure that they aren’t shorthanded on the front court during the same game.

Boston has just four games remaining during the season, and it is close to securing at the very least the no. two seed for the East. There’s a chance that the Celtics might be able to beat the Bucks to claim the top. 1 seed, however, it’s going to take Milwaukee to lose two of its last four games. Boston hasn’t secured the no. 2 seed just yet, however all the Celtics require is to win one more game to remain ahead of those Sixers at the top of the league.

Whatever of the outcome, the C’s will be looking to complete their Sixers win this year, as they’ve beaten them 3-0. The last time they played, Jayson Tatum knocked in the game-winning 3 pointer in Philadelphia to win the game.
