On the 7th of July, Thursday, Hudson Fire Department and Caldwell Emergency Services with assistance from Hudson Police Department will host an exercise for live burning that involves multiple agencies at the former Throneburg Store in the middle between Main Street (US Hwy 321-A) and Throneburg Avenue.
The personnel from all fire departments in the county and all departments within Caldwell County Emergency Services will take part in the exercise that will likely last until the early morning of Friday.
Because of the scale and scope of this event many roadways throughout Hudson have been closed beginning at the time of 6 p.m. during the Thursday, until the time of 6 a.m. the following Friday. Road closings include: Main Street (US Hwy 321-A) beginning at Mt. Herman Road to Cedar Valley Road; Central Street from Fairway Ave. to Hudson Cajah’s Mountain Road; and Hudson Cajah’s Mountain Road from Museum Street to Central Street.
